Feedback on Homestead technologies and extension strategies training.
The training was helpful in field situations to guide the farmers, SHGs, FPOs and women groups. The training curricullum includes very useful topics and almost all practical oriented.
Below are the topics that were very useful:
- Processing of locally grown foods crops in homestead farming as an enterprices. Since we are implementing the PMFME scheme, we can advice the farmers group as well as indudial to take up the small scale indudtries as we had learnt about different processing units.
- We have learnt some of the new and emerging topics like Aquaphonics, Hydrophonics, Vertical kitchen gardens, terrace gardening and Eco-colours in cottage industries.
- Information on Production of value added products.
- Information on Meditional and aromatic plants.
