Very much required training program for field officers of Agricultural department..but need to be in more detail in application of provisions of Acts and Rules at field level by discussing more case studies

Good Training program to Agriculture officers on Agriculture inputs very useful and knowledge based training.
Aand field visit and Labs like FCO,PTL,ISTA labs and Pesticide residual analysis lab also.
And good accommodation.

During the training,visits were only to our department labs and university lab.It would have been better if the visits were to private company labs,where sophisticated facilities are available.

The sessions covered critical areas such as seed quality standards, fertilizer composition analysis, pesticide regulation, and handling protocols.

The training on quality control measures for agricultural inputs was highly informative and relevant. The sessions helped me better understand the importance of proper handling, labeling, storage, and inspection of fertilizers, seeds.The accommodation and food arrangements were also satisfactory.However, I would like to suggest including a dedicated session on the latest technologies in agriculture, as well as newly released varieties of seeds and agrochemicals.Incorporating these updates would make the training even more practical and relevant to current field conditions.

The training programme was very apt in time and to the section of trainees, and I think it would be more better if stress more on seed, pesticide, fertilizer sample drawing precautions to be taken and involve more on case studies.

The training was good on theoretical basis but it would have been excellent if hands on training is given in conducting panchanama and detailed legal procedures were explained in filing cases for misbranded nonstandard and substandard agri inputs and more of case studies were discussed in detail

Canteen food is good. Kindly include millet dishes like ragi mudde/ sangati, jolada rotti in menu. Yoga class is good , Mr. Ravindra is nice in teaching yoga. Thanks EEI .

The real need of the hour .
The role of CRIDA in climate change & practical visit to see real simulation is unforgettable.
The exposure visit to INCOSIS is highly useful for a person like me from Cauvery delta where we are facing several low pressure & unusual rainfall every year.
Thery classes on Emerging climate challenges were highly useful.

I feel proud to get the second chance to attend training in EEI Hyderabad.
The class handled by Dr Ramana Rao, on Engineering interventions in combatting ill effects of climatic changes was the very best experience sharing class which invlved the whole sessio lively.
Dr Shreesha handled Gender budgetting nicely.
The outdoor visit to CRIDA opened the knowledge gate on the influence of temperature and co2 on plant productivity. The subject was well explained by Dr Arun Shankar.
Visit to INCOIS is a lifetime immemorable happening. Dr Srinivasa Rao explained remote sensing through satellites and their immense use excellently.
Course was coordinated by Dr Praveen friendly and cardialy.
Thanks to the Director, EEI for giving this opportunity to us.
Climate change in Agriculture
The training on Climate change in Agriculture is the need of the hour as everyone one is witnessing impact of the climate change i.e increasing temperature and unexpected floods. This 5 days training is useful to me and learnt many new things and knowledge on climate change. Take home message for me is not to waste water and electricity in home and go for electric bike or car in future for transportation so as to reduce emissions of GHGs.
As an agri graduate, I will desseminate the climate resilient strategies learnt in this training programme to my fellow officials and to farmers.

EEI, hyderabad is doing a great work in imparting training to the Extension officials. The conduction of the training programme is very organized and the faculties are friendly in nature. The visit to INCOIS is a great choice, where we learnt the importance of ocean in climate change mitigation and its services to the nation. It is good to know the research works, ongoing in CRIDA are aligned with the evolving climate changes. The Boarding and Lodging facilities were fine. Yoga sessions are like an extra bonus. I think, more number of sessions in diverisfied topics relevant to the title may be included in future.

Very useful training with good and safe accomodation and regarding to climate change in Agriculture we learn about below things during the 5 days training from 05.05.2025 to 09.05.2025:
- Recent climate changes due to various green house gases and other environmental factors
- Important Technologies to tackle climate changes like Aternate wetting and drying in paddy crop, ITKs knowledge for seed storage, Carbon credit
- Very useful vists to institutes namely CRIDA and INCOIS to learn about changing climate patterns in dryland Agriculture and coastal systems vulnerability and advance fishing area prediction to farmers by using satellites

The on-campus training programme on \Climate Change in Agriculture: Impacts, Risks, and Resilience Building\ was highly informative. The sessions provided a comprehensive overview of the impacts of climate change on agriculture, including changing weather patterns, crop vulnerabilities and the socio economic implications for farmers.
Sessions on resilience strategies such as climate-smart agriculture, crop diversification and water management were practically oriented. Carbon Trade, a new concept learned in this training.The field visits of CRIDA and iNCOIS added practical exposure to Research work related to development of climate resilient varieties and ocean weather forecasting and information dissemination respectively.
Overall, this training helps to understand and address climate change challenges in agriculture.
