I am working as a Agricultural Officer in Tiruvannamalai District of TamilNadu.The training is very useful and The visits arranged to Institutions and FPO s are really useful to understand the reality and ground situations in marketing. All the teaching staffs and non teaching staffs are very friendly and informative.

Training was very good with contents. More exposure are required to exploring Startups in Odisha and my operational district. Handholding support is required to setup Incubating Centre in KVK.
I am truly grateful for the opportunity to attend this very enriching and insightful training programme on “Promotion of Startups and Entrepreneurship in Agriculture and Allied Sectors” organized by the esteemed Extension Education Institute, Hyderabad.
Over the course of the training, I have gained a deeper understanding of the startup ecosystem, agribusiness incubation models, value chain management, and the critical role that entrepreneurship can play in transforming the rural economy. The sessions on business planning, market analysis, funding avenues like RKVY-RAFTAAR and ACABC, as well as successful case studies of agri-startups, were particularly enlightening and practically applicable.The field visits to incubation centres and interactions with agri-innovators provided a real-world glimpse into the challenges and triumphs of startup journeys.I firmly believe that with the knowledge and tools I’ve acquired during this training, I will be better equipped to promote grassroots innovations, foster rural enterprises, and contribute meaningfully to the vision of an Aatmanirbhar Krishi.I sincerely thank the Director, faculty members, coordinators, and the entire EEI team for their tireless efforts, excellent hospitality, and well-structured sessions.I return from this training not just with knowledge, but with motivation, vision, and a mission to make a difference.

This blog shares key learnings, experiences, and reflections from the training program on “Strengthening Post-Harvest Management in Agri and Allied Sectors through Farmer Producer Organisations” held from 24–28 June 2025. The program highlighted the crucial role of FPOs in aggregation, storage, value addition, and market linkage. It emphasized post-harvest technologies, infrastructure development, government support schemes, and strategies to enhance farmers’ income. The training provided valuable insights into building resilient supply chains and improving the overall efficiency of post-harvest management in India.
The Training programme on Strengthening Post Harvest Management through FPO was quite helpful & informative.Got some valuable insights into importance of various crop specific PHM to ensure better market oppertunities.Learnt about various quality standards & certifications as required for exporting farm products.This session helped me enhance my knowledge regarding financial planning,branding, packaging,collective marketing which i would impart to the FPOs working in my region.

Participants from agri and allied sectors were guided through well-structured and insightful sessions. Thanks for that. However, being from the dairy sector in Kerala State, where cooperatives have predominance rather than FPOs, some were relatively new concepts for me and definitely opened up new ideas. It helped to explore how FPOs can support value addition.

I am grateful for this opportunity to attend this training programme. The programme was designed thoughtfully and is a great platform for us young doctors to improve ourself. We had lot of group discussions regarding various topics, and engaging activities. My personal interested sessions were negotiation and Management skills, dealt by Dr. Jagan Mohan reddy sir and Stress Management skills by Dr. R. Vasantha Mam. This programme helped me to gain a different perspective on leadership, personal and professional growth. I now feel little more confident.

This training session will be extremely valuable to my professional life. Lecturers have explained with real life examples.Instead of providing more items, providing few items with good taste will avoid wastage of food.

Training on animal nutrition and extension strategies was informative, theory plus practical oriented sessions are covered with fine discussions and interactive. Visit to sid farm was a model for a co operative cum corporate model on medium scale. Resource persons were excellent in their area, they did the best. As some topics are theoretical we cannot expect them to do practical class. Among all Prof Satish Kumar, Prof Satyanarayana, Prof Narsimha Prof K Padmaja were best and met our expectations. Food and accompdation is better can be improved in lodging (hostel A needs renovation), provide a bag so that it will be of a memory to us and install a electricity operated shoe polish machine at hostel.
