This training was useful for extension professionals as it imparts the procedure for process of documentation of day to day departmental activities in the field nd how to present them .Apart from the documentation techniques , other sessions such as practical application of presentation skills are very useful as it empowers us how to present the topics nd how effectively one should follow the skills at the time of presentation. Usage of Jingles and online connectivity with farmers regarding the field problems, department activities shown by electronic wing of Pjtsau are very helpful. Foodscaping or edible landscaping is the art of combining landscaping with edible beautiful plants to beautify our places. It can be followed in public places, institutes, homes or any where to serve the purpose as food as well as for beautification. It adds to food security as well. It can be adopted in urban areas mainly where land area is limited.
Banana plants can be affected by various pests, and managing these pests is crucial for maintaining healthy banana crops. Some common pests that affect banana plants include:
Banana Aphids: These tiny insects feed on plant sap, causing leaves to curl and distort. Aphids can also transmit viral diseases.
Banana Weevils: Banana weevils damage the plant by boring into the pseudostem and corm, weakening the structure.
Thrips: Thrips feed on young leaves, causing them to become distorted and discolored. They can also transmit viruses.
Nematodes: Root-knot nematodes can affect banana roots, leading to stunted growth and reduced yield.

I participated in a training programme conducted at EEI, Hyderabad between 19.12.23 to 23.12.23. The training was very informative and valuable. It emphasis more on converting waste to wealth and reducing waste to reach the dumpyard through effective reuse, recycling and upcycling. Hopefully, I will implement the learnings in my workplace for the benefit of the masses.
